As the challenges of Coronavirus (COVID-19) become more apparent, it’s important to inform you of the steps we’re taking behind the scenes to minimise risk within our home office/warehouse and the wider community.
Right now, our key priority is the health and safety of our customers, staff, and those most vulnerable.
Where possible, Simply Hygge Home aims for business as usual. This means our online store is still trading and dispatches are still happening on a daily basis. General hygiene practices are key and we’re taking extra precautions, this includes ensuring that when handling your orders we have washed our hands and are following hand hygiene protocols. We have undertaken additional training in relation to hand hygiene protocols.
We have paid additional fees to our freight companies to ensure that stock arriving from overseas is treated in customs before dispatch to our business. We have also had discussions with our suppliers to ensure that they too are using good hygiene practices.
For those awaiting delivery, there will be a minor impact on the supply chain in terms of lead times. Rest assured delivery is still going ahead, albeit with additional measures in place to protect both customers and staff. Some disruption will be unavoidable with reduced internal flights across Australia and the increased volume of online purchases. We are taking steps behind the scenes to monitor your tracking and constantly communicating with our freight couriers to minimise delivery delays to you, we appreciate your patience with delivery.
